"Striving to Achieve Excellence In Community Service"
Women of BECA INC was started in 2003 by four women who traveled together and developed a sisterhood. We decided to develop an organization to give back to the community by the way of supporting Women's related Services and Charities and Education for our Youth. The Hallmark of our organization is our Scholarship Fund to deserving high school seniors that are pursing a career in the specified career paths of the founders – Beverly-Journalism, Edna – Criminal Justice, Connie – Journalism, and Angela- Nursing.
Our name BECA was derived from the first letter of each of our founding members names.
BECA INC partners as volunteers in the community by providing assistance to several local organizations providing services to women. The Women of BECA also award annual scholarships to deserving high school students through the BECA INC/ Edna R. Archie Anthony Memorial Scholarship Fund.
