"Striving to Achieve Excellence In Community Service"
BECA Incorporated was started in 2003 by four women who traveled together and developed a sisterhood. The Women of BECA decided to develop an organization to give back to the community by the way of supporting Women's related Services and Charities and Education for our Youth. The Hallmark of our organization is our Scholarship Fund that is awarded to deserving high school seniors that are pursuing a career in the specified career paths of the founders – Beverly-Journalism, Edna – Criminal Justice, Connie – Journalism, and Angela- Nursing.
Our name BECA was derived from the first letter of each of our founding members names.
BECA INC partners as volunteers in the community by providing assistance and donations to several local organizations that provide services to and for women. The Women of BECA also awards annual scholarships to deserving high school students through the BECA INC- Edna R. Anthony Memorial Scholarship Fund. We hold fundraising events to support our cause and collaborate with local businesses to support our cause and to support their business ventures.
